Flick: 'We Usually Score Goals When We Play Well, We Must Be Brave'
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick expressed his confidence in his team's ability to perform well and score goals against Atlético Madrid in the Champions League quarter-final second leg. The Catalans aim to overturn a 0-2 home defeat from the first leg.
The German coach stated in a press conference: "We must focus on our performance more than the result. We usually score goals when we play well. I believe it will be a different match, and we must be brave."
Regarding his squad selection, he added: "De Jong might start tomorrow, but we haven't decided yet. He is in better physical condition than Bernal. Gavi? We will see if he plays and where. We will decide after the training session."
He concluded by saying: "Qualifying thanks to Yamal? He is the best in the world in one-on-one situations, but we will not focus on that. We will face a great team, and we will play as one team. We will not be playing a final, but we must win as if it were."
Barcelona will visit the Metropolitano Stadium to face Atlético Madrid tomorrow, Tuesday (20:00 GMT+1).
