De la Fuente Demands Clubs Respect Spanish National Team

Luis de la Fuente, coach of the Spanish national team, held a press conference at Espanyol's stadium, where he confirmed that the actual preparations for the World Cup finals have already begun.

These statements come ahead of the anticipated match against the Egyptian national team, which represents the final stop in the March international break, before the official announcement of the squad participating in the World Cup.

In this regard, De la Fuente called for the necessity of coordination and mutual respect between clubs and the Spanish Football Federation during international breaks, stating: "I respect clubs every day of the year, and I demand that they respect the national team."

The coach also stated that there is a solid core of 20 to 22 players who form the nucleus of the final 26-player squad.
