Club Brugge Monitoring Radouane Hlalhal for Next Season Move
Belgian media sources have reported that Club Brugge is considering Moroccan defender Radouane Hlalhal as an option to strengthen its defense ahead of next season.
According to the Belgian website "walfoot", the club has shown official interest in the player since last January, following his impressive performances with KV Mechelen.
Hlalhal quickly established himself in the team after joining from Atlético Madrid on a free transfer. He had a loan spell with Helmond Sport before becoming a key defensive player this season.
It is expected that the option to buy his contract will be activated, which would put him in the final year of his deal, thus increasing interest from clubs looking for a reliable player at a reasonable price.
Club Brugge is preparing for the potential departures of Jorne Spileers and Zaid Romero, and with other names being circulated as alternatives, Radouane Hlalhal appears to be a serious option to bolster their defense.
Other foreign clubs, such as Hellas Verona, are also monitoring the player. Club Brugge's management will need to decide on a potential move next summer, given that the transfer market could see strong competition for the young player.
It is worth noting that Radouane Hlalhal recently made his first appearance for the Moroccan senior national team, having been called up by national coach Mohamed Wahbi for friendly matches against Ecuador and Paraguay this month.
