
Moroccan Wassim Darraji (18) Signs First Professional Contract with French Club Toulouse
French club Toulouse has announced that its young Moroccan player, Wassim Dardak, has signed his first professional contract after progressively advancing through the club's youth ranks.
This season, Moroccan forward Wassim Dardak regularly featured for Toulouse's reserve team in the third division, showcasing his brilliance and attacking skills, particularly in the Coupe Gambardella, where he scored two goals in three matches. This performance highlights his ability to make a strong impact and enhances his prospects of excelling with the first team in the future.
Olivier Cloarec, the club president, stated, "Congratulations to Wassim. He is a talented and joyful young man, and we look forward to supporting him in his career with the first team. We also congratulate all the coaches who contributed to his development."
Julien Lacour, director of the training center, added, "From the beginning, I knew he had something special. He is a fighter and has worked hard to reach this stage. I am proud of him and his family; he deserves this achievement, and I look forward to seeing him make his mark in the senior world."
Dylan Henry, assistant coach for the reserve team and Dardak's coach in the U13 and U14 categories, also praised the player, emphasizing that the signing reflects his significant efforts and distinguished journey within the academy.
It is worth noting that Wassim Dardak participated with the Moroccan U17 national team in the Youth World Cup finals held in Qatar, where the team's journey ended in the quarter-finals after a 2-1 loss to Brazil.
