
Alexander Prass Leads Hoffenheim to Four-Goal Victory Over Heidenheim in Bundesliga
Hoffenheim defeated hosts Heidenheim 4-2 today at the Voith-Arena in Heidenheim an der Brenz, in a match part of the 25th round of the German Bundesliga.
The visitors took an early lead when Alexander Prass scored Hoffenheim's first goal in the 26th minute. The same player then doubled the lead in the first minute of first-half stoppage time. Fisnik Asllani further extended Hoffenheim's advantage with a third goal early in the 49th minute, before the home side pulled one back through Luca Kerber in the 62nd minute.
VAR intervened to disallow a goal scored by Christian Joe Conteh in the 70th minute for offside. Tim Lemperle then netted Hoffenheim's fourth goal by the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Luca Kerber scored the host team's second goal with a header. With this victory, Hoffenheim raised their tally to 49 points, placing them third, three points behind Borussia Dortmund, while Heidenheim remained on 14 points in 18th place.
