Chaabani: "We Missed Many Chances Against Wydad, and the Late Penalty Decided the Match in Their Favor"

Tunisian coach Moïn Chaabani, manager of Renaissance Berkane, expressed his regret following his team's defeat against Wydad AC. He affirmed that his players gave their all despite the difficulty of the match and the surrounding circumstances.

Chaabani stated after the match that the result was not in his team's favor, emphasizing that the players put in great effort on the field and created several scoring opportunities. However, the team conceded a goal in the final minutes. He added that playing consecutive matches in a short period against strong teams, coupled with absences and a lack of squad depth due to injuries, further complicated the task.

The Tunisian coach explained that his team entered the match aiming for a positive result and to secure all three points, noting that small details ultimately decided the encounter, despite the performance delivered by the players throughout the game.
