After Nearly Four Months Out, Senhaji Begins Individual Grass Training Ahead of Return
Moroccan international Marouane Senhaji, an Athletic Bilbao player, has returned to the Lezama training ground after an absence of nearly four months. He completed his first individual training session with a ball, marking a significant step in his recovery following surgery last November for an injury to the medial meniscus of his right knee.
Senhaji's return to the grass for the first time since his operation is a crucial step in his rehabilitation program. He will continue with individual training sessions as he gradually works towards rejoining the full squad.
It is worth noting that Marouane Senhaji underwent surgery in November last year. This significantly reduced his chances of participating with the "Atlas Lions" (Morocco national team) in the Africa Cup of Nations, given the limited time between his recovery period and the start of the continental tournament.
