Samu Aghehowa Returns to Porto to Begin Recovery After Successful Surgery
Porto FC has announced the return of player Samu Aghehowa to the city to begin his recovery process under the supervision of the club's medical services. This return follows a surgical procedure in Madrid to treat a ruptured cruciate ligament.
Dr. Manuel Leal performed the successful surgery last Wednesday, with no reported complications. Aghehowa returned to Porto by car, following medical recommendations to avoid air travel after the operation.
Aghehowa is expected to return to the club's facilities tomorrow to continue the first phase of his intensive treatment program. He was accompanied on his return journey by members of the club's medical staff and his mother. This injury, however, will prevent him from participating in the upcoming World Cup, which is a significant setback for the player's plans.
