Javier Bofes Banned for Two Years, Fined by Spanish Federation
The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) has announced a two-year ban and a €3,500 fine for Javier Bofes, the manager and coach of Moscardó club. The decision was communicated on February 18, 2026, by the sole disciplinary judge for non-professional competitions.
This sanction comes as a result of Bofes' failure to comply with previous accumulated penalties, in addition to new incidents that occurred during a Spanish Second Division match. Bofes had previously disregarded an eight-match ban and a €1,500 fine, having attended his team Moscardó's match against Rayo Majadahonda on February 15.
During the aforementioned match, Bofes directed insults at officials, telling them: “Show your chests for the dirty game you played! You came to earn 300 dirty euros!” He also insulted Rayo Majadahonda player Daniel Ramos, calling him “the villager” and demanding he “remove the toothpick from your mouth!”
In a related context, a document published by the Royal Spanish Football Federation stated that Bofes “then grabbed Rayo Majadahonda player number 6, Mr. Daniel Vidal Martínez, by the neck, which required the intervention of security personnel to break up the altercation.”
