Rennes Appoint Franck Haise as New Coach Until 2027
French club Rennes have announced the appointment of Franck Haise as their new head coach, following the departure of former manager Habib Beye. Haise has signed a contract with the club that extends until 2027.
Assistant coaches Yohann Ramaré and Lilian Nalis will join Franck Haise's new technical staff. The new coach aims to elevate the team from sixth to fourth place in the Ligue 1 standings, which would secure them a spot in the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds.
Rennes currently sit in sixth place, six points behind fourth-placed Olympique Marseille, with 12 rounds remaining in the season. Haise previously guided Lens to a second-place finish in Ligue 1 in 2023, qualifying them for the Champions League. He also began his coaching career at Rennes' youth academy between 2006 and 2012.
