Fran Escribá Confirmed as New Real Valladolid Coach
Real Valladolid has confirmed the appointment of Fran Escribá as the club's new head coach, succeeding Luis García Tevenet, who was dismissed from his position. This change comes after a series of four consecutive defeats that saw the team drop into the relegation zone in Spain's Primera RFEF.
The club introduced the new coach, Escribá, shortly after announcing his appointment, and he subsequently led his first training session. Escribá expressed confidence in his ability to handle the challenging situation, stating, "I have dealt with difficult or even more difficult situations than this, and we succeeded in turning things around."
In related news, the club indicated that Real Valladolid's sporting director, Víctor Orta, contacted Escribá after the team's defeat in Granada. Escribá and Orta share a close relationship, stemming from their time working together at Elche CF.
