Fran Escribá Announced as New Real Valladolid Coach
Real Valladolid has announced the appointment of Fran Escribá as the club's new head coach, signing a contract until June 2027. This appointment follows the dismissal of Luis García Tevenet, who was relieved of his duties after a series of four consecutive defeats for the team.
Escribá's primary objective is to save the team from relegation from "La Liga Hypermotion," as Real Valladolid currently occupies a position within the relegation zone. Escribá takes charge with sixteen matches remaining in the season.
Escribá is scheduled to lead his first training session with the team on Tuesday. He becomes the third coach to take charge of Real Valladolid this season. Escribá has previously managed several Spanish clubs, including Elche, Getafe, Villarreal, Celta, Real Zaragoza, and Granada.
