
Morocco U16 National Team Loses to Tunisia (3-2), Finishes Third in UNAF Tournament
The Morocco U16 national team concluded its participation in the North African Football Union (UNAF) tournament with a 3-2 defeat against hosts Tunisia on Sunday, in the final round of the competition.
Mohamed Ben Hssine opened the scoring for Tunisia in the 23rd minute, followed by Mohamed Iyad Ferchichi who doubled their lead in the 39th minute. Ben Hssine then scored his second and Tunisia's third goal in the 46th minute.
After the break, the Moroccan squad managed to narrow the deficit. Said Boudi scored their first goal in the 64th minute, and Salah Eddine Taghoui added a second in the 73rd minute.
With this result, the Morocco U16 national team finished its UNAF tournament campaign in third place. Tunisia, by topping the overall standings, was crowned champions of the competition.
