Santos on Young Africans Clash: "It's Like a Final... We Always Play to Win and Have the Ability to Deliver a Good Performance"
AS FAR coach, Alexandre Santos, emphasized the importance of focus and discipline in matches, ahead of his team's encounter against Young Africans in the fifth round of the CAF Champions League group stage.
Santos stated in the pre-match press conference: "We will play our fifth match in our African campaign, and our goal is clear: to achieve victory."
"It's possible to face both good and difficult things in this match. It's like a final, but the most important thing is to be absolutely strict, patient, and fully focused," added the coach of the military team.
He continued: "The most important thing tomorrow is to play better than the opponent. We must be good and maintain our full concentration on the field."
Santos concluded: "I would like to remind everyone that AS FAR is a big club, with a great history and a magnificent journey. We possess the necessary strength to deliver a good performance and achieve our goal, which is victory and securing the three points. We always play to win."
AS FAR will host Young Africans tomorrow, Saturday, at 8:00 PM (GMT+1).
