After Injury Return, Chadi Riad Attracts Mallorca's Interest
Spanish media sources report that Real Mallorca is looking to sign Moroccan player Chadi Riad to strengthen its defense. According to the Spanish newspaper "diariodemallorca," Sporting Director Pablo Ortells and former player Aritz Aduriz traveled to London this week to try and finalize a deal for the player.
The same source explained that Chadi Riad is characterized by his physical strength, defensive solidity, aerial dominance, and passing quality, making him an attractive option for Mallorca. His ability to play the ball out from the back is particularly appealing, a quality the team currently lacks.
It is worth noting that Chadi Riad recently returned to action with his team, Crystal Palace, coming on for the final 15 minutes against Chelsea. He contributed to his team's only goal in the 3-1 defeat, following a long absence due to an anterior cruciate ligament tear.
