Jack Grealish Injured, Out for 3 Months
Everton has confirmed that their forward, Jack Grealish, has sustained a stress fracture in his foot following medical examinations.
Everton manager David Moyes commented on the news on Friday, stating, “This is a very severe blow.” He added, “It’s a big blow because he has been very important for us since the start of the season and has played a significant role in the team.”
Moyes indicated that he could not provide a specific timeline for Grealish's absence, though British media reports have suggested he will be sidelined for three months.
Grealish, 30, is currently on a season-long loan at Everton from Manchester City. The player has featured in 22 matches for Everton this season, scoring two goals and providing six assists. Everton remains in close contact with Manchester City regarding Grealish's loan status.
