
Barcelona Confirms Pedri Injury Layoff
Spanish club Barcelona has announced an injury to star midfielder Pedri, also revealing the expected duration of his absence from the pitch.
Pedri sustained the injury yesterday, Wednesday, during the Champions League match against Slavia Prague. He started the game but was substituted in the 61st minute by teammate Dani Olmo.
The Catalan club confirmed in an official statement that "tests conducted this morning have confirmed that Pedri is suffering from a muscle injury in the biceps femoris of his right leg."
The statement added that the recovery period from the injury is expected to be one month, which will see the player miss at least six matches.
