Paris Saint-Germain Player Lucas Hernandez and Wife Face "Human Trafficking" Allegations
Paris Saint-Germain defender Lucas Hernandez and his wife are facing serious accusations of "human trafficking and unauthorized work" following a complaint filed with the French judiciary by a five-member Colombian family.
According to French media outlets, including RMC, Hernandez and his wife are accused of exploiting the Colombian family by employing them without legal contracts and failing to adhere to proper working conditions between September 2024 and November 2025.
Lola Dubois, the lawyer representing the complainants, confirmed that the complaint was filed on January 14. The Versailles financial prosecutor's office has not yet issued an official response.
According to the complainants' statements, members of the Colombian family performed various tasks, including guarding, security, cleaning, cooking, and childcare.
The main complainant recounted meeting Hernandez's wife in Colombia in June 2024, where she was offered the opportunity to come to France to work for her and her family. Subsequently, the services of her siblings and parents were also engaged.
The complainant stated that she arrived in France illegally, and Hernandez's wife had promised to swiftly handle all administrative procedures, a promise that was not fulfilled. Furthermore, the complainants' lawyer asserted that the contracts provided later were imprecise regarding salaries and working hours, and failed to include legal rights such as holidays or rest days, with some individuals reportedly working six or even seven days a week.
The lawyer added that some employees were dismissed harshly following disagreements with Hernandez's wife and that they experienced continuous psychological pressure. The complainant stated, "I feel exploited, frustrated, and subjected to bad treatment."
