
Rabat Court Sentences Algerian Fan Who Urinated in Stands to Three Months in Prison
The Rabat Court of First Instance issued its verdict today, Monday, against the Algerian fan known as "the urinator in the stands," who had been held in custody pending investigation.
The court sentenced him to three months in prison and a fine of 500 dirhams. He was prosecuted on two charges: "public indecency" and "uttering phrases contrary to public morals and ethics against an individual or group during sports matches or events."
This ruling is part of efforts to combat acts that violate order and ethics inside stadiums, aiming to preserve public safety and the integrity of sports competitions.
