Reguilón Expresses Joy at Joining Inter Miami and Teaming Up with Messi

Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilón, who recently joined American club Inter Miami, expressed his immense happiness at joining the team and playing alongside Argentine star Lionel Messi.

Reguilón stated, “It’s a dream to be here, to be able to share moments on the field with Leo, and to see how he warms up; it’s wonderful for any footballer.”

The player praised the “amazing” welcome he received from former Barcelona players Messi and Luis Suárez, and coach Javier Mascherano, adding, “Much better than I expected; everything that happens on the field stays on the field. The reception was amazing, even in my wildest dreams.”

Reguilón arrives in Miami to replace Jordi Alba, who retired last December. Reguilón admitted, “Jordi is irreplaceable; he is the best left-back in Spain’s history.”
