Guardiola Confirms Dias Out for Weeks, Gvardiol for Long Period
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that defender Rúben Dias will be sidelined for four to six weeks. This announcement follows the player sustaining a hamstring injury during the team's 1-1 draw against Chelsea.
Guardiola stated: "I think everyone knows that. Some players are available, some are not. Dias, with a hamstring injury, will be out for four to six weeks. Stones, I have no idea. Not ready for the next games. Aké is fine. Gvardiol will be out for a long time."
Josko Gvardiol, who also picked up an injury in the same match against Chelsea, faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines and is scheduled to undergo surgery later this week. Meanwhile, John Stones is not ready for upcoming matches, while Nathan Aké is in good health.
