Real Madrid Legend Roberto Carlos Discharged After Heart Surgery
Brazilian and Real Madrid football legend Roberto Carlos, 52, has been discharged from a hospital in Sao Paulo after undergoing unexpected heart surgery earlier this week.
Carlos initially sought medical attention for a blood clot in his left leg, which led to the discovery of irregularities in his heart function. He spent three hours in the operating room and 48 hours under medical observation.
Following the operation, Carlos reassured his fans via social media, stating: "I'm fine, and I'm being well cared for. I did not suffer a heart attack." Upon his discharge, he also expressed his gratitude, declaring: "I am grateful to all members of the medical team for their attention, care, and accompaniment during this period. Many thanks to the doctors." The procedure was deemed non-life-threatening, and he appears to have made a full recovery.
