Burkina Faso international Youssoufou Dayo affirmed that his national team will enter the Africa Cup of Nations with great ambition and clear determination to win the title. He stressed that all players possess mental and physical readiness, especially since the tournament is being held on Moroccan soil.

Dayo told "burkina24": "For me personally, I have done everything here. I mean, I grew up here in Morocco. It's destiny. Perhaps fate wants me to come and lift this trophy here. And why not?"

The Burkinabe international added that his national team has reached the necessary maturity to compete for the title. He stated: "I think we are ready. Both mentally and in terms of work, we are prepared. It's up to us to give our all."

Dayo also spoke about the team's experience in continental competitions, emphasizing that the players understand the magnitude of the responsibility. He remarked: "If you look at history a little, we have played one final and two semi-finals. All these young players behind me know that very well. The goal is to go and win the trophy."

Dayo further stressed that the focus would be on each match individually, without rushing. He said: "Everyone is ready. God willing, we will succeed. But for that, there is each match individually. First, the opening match, and we will remain calm."

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of progressing gradually in the competition: "If we succeed in winning the first match, we will approach the second match step by step, so that we can manage the competition in the best possible way."
