Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), lauded the Moroccan national team for clinching the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 title. This came after their thrilling 3-2 victory over Jordan in the final match held at Lusail Stadium in Qatar's capital, Doha.

Infantino shared his congratulations in a post on his official Instagram account, stating: "Morocco is the champion of the Arab world, after a thrilling victory achieved in a fantastic comeback against Jordan, in a match that entertained 84,517 enthusiastic fans at Lusail Stadium!"

"It was wonderful to share this special evening with the presence of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani; His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Jordan, Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II; Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani; and the Minister of Sports, Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, along with other personalities," the FIFA President added.

He continued: "I extend my sincere thanks to the Qatar Football Association, led by Jassim Rashid Al Buainain, for organizing a wonderful tournament that brought Arab nations together and brought great joy to the fans."

Infantino concluded his post by saying: "Congratulations to the Moroccan national team on winning the 'FIFA Arab Cup 2025'!"
