“Winners” Offers Condolences to Families of Safi Flood Victims and Fes Building Collapse Tragedy

The Ultras group supporting Wydad AC, “Winners,” issued a statement extending its sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the tragedies in Fes and Safi, following the collapse of two buildings and floods that claimed dozens of lives.

In a statement published by the Wydad Ultras group on its official Facebook page, they said: “Less than a week has passed since the collapse of two residential buildings in the Al Massira neighborhood in Fes, which resulted in the deaths of over twenty people. We ask Almighty God to have mercy on them and grant them paradise, and to inspire their families with patience and solace. Others were injured, and we wish them a speedy recovery.”

The statement continued: “Today, with the same hearts believing in divine decree and destiny, we receive news of the deaths of 14 people and injuries to dozens after several neighborhoods in Safi were submerged due to heavy rainfall and fragile infrastructure.”

They concluded: “Oh God, have mercy on those who died and make them among the people of Paradise, and heal, Oh God, your servants who were injured. We also ask you to protect the country and its people from all evil with your ever-watchful eye.”
