El Khannouss: "We Have No Excuses Not to Win the Africa Cup of Nations Title"

Bilal El Khannouss, the Stuttgart player, spoke about the Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which Morocco will host starting December 21, emphasizing that the national team has no excuse not to win the title.

In an interview with the French website "Foot Mercato," El Khannouss stated: "The Africa Cup of Nations is the most important tournament in Morocco's history, especially since it will be held in our country. We have everything we need to deliver a great tournament."

He continued: "We have a high-level coach, a fantastic squad, and amazing fans. We are playing at home, so I believe there are no excuses. We will do everything we can together to try and win this title."

He added: "The club is not like the national team. I believe that when you reach the national team, representing Morocco is a source of pride. Whether you play or not, you should be proud to represent this country and wear this jersey."

He concluded: "We all want to play, and that's logical. We are professional players and we have ambition, but only 11 players can be on the field; we can't play with thirty players at once. In the end, we must accept it. Whether you are a starter, a substitute, or a reserve, there's no problem. For me, the nation comes first, and I will always accept any role."
