El Kantari Appointed Nantes Coach Until End of Season Following Luis Castro's Dismissal Due to Poor Results

Former Moroccan international Ahmed El Kantari will lead French side Nantes until the end of the current season, succeeding Portuguese coach Luis Castro, who was dismissed, according to L'Equipe.
El Kantari, who previously worked as part of Antoine Kombouaré's technical staff last season, will be assisted by Eric Blahic as first assistant, Stéphane Mangione, and fitness coach Gilles Marambot.
This move comes amidst Nantes' declining results, with the team currently occupying 17th place with 11 points. El Kantari becomes the 21st coach since the Kita family took over the club, a clear indication of the instability the team has experienced for years.
