Al-Hamdan Apologizes After Penalty Miss Against Morocco: "Mistakes Are Part of Football"

Saudi Arabia striker Abdullah Al-Hamdan has apologized to the "Green Falcons" fans after missing a penalty against Morocco in a match that ended in a 1-0 victory for the "Atlas Lions" in the third round of the Arab Cup group stage.
Speaking at the post-match press conference, Al-Hamdan stated, "Mistakes are part of football, and today I made a mistake against the team, as well as against the fans who were supporting the national team."
He added, "I came to apologize to the technical staff, my teammates, and the fans who attended. God willing, Abdullah and the entire group will make up for what happened today."
