Gabon Coach Announces 28-Man Squad for AFCON 2025, Malick Evouna Included

Gabon national team coach Thierry Mouyouma has announced a 28-man squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco from December 21 to January 18. Veteran striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang headlines the selection, poised to lead the Panthers' attack.
The squad also features other prominent names such as Aaron Boupendza, Denis Bouanga, and Mario Lemina. The selection sees the return of Jim Allevinah and Alex Babika after recovering from injury, while the surprise inclusion is striker Malick Evouna, who has been recalled to the national team.
Gabon will compete in a strong Group F at the continental tournament, where they are set to face Cameroon, Ivory Coast, and Mozambique.
