Trump to Attend 2026 World Cup Draw on Friday in Washington

The White House has confirmed that US President Donald Trump will attend the draw for the 2026 World Cup finals, which is set to take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C.

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt stated: "President Trump will attend the World Cup finals draw at the Kennedy Center on Friday."

The draw for the 2026 World Cup, which will be the largest edition in the tournament's history featuring 48 participating teams instead of 32 as in the Qatar 2022 edition, is scheduled for this coming Friday in Washington.

The expanded tournament will be co-hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada, running from June 11 to July 19 next year.
