El Hanouri Set for In-Depth Medical Scans Wednesday to Determine Injury Severity

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) issued a statement today, Tuesday, regarding the health status of Moroccan B team player, Hamza El Hanouri.

In its statement, the Federation confirmed that El Hanouri sustained an injury during the national B team's training session yesterday, Monday, and underwent initial MRI scans.

The football governing body also noted that El Hanouri will undergo in-depth medical examinations tomorrow, Wednesday, to precisely determine the nature and extent of his injury.

Tariq Sektioui, coach of the Moroccan B team, had previously confirmed after their 3-1 victory over Comoros that El Hanouri's injury would rule him out of the remainder of the Arab Cup competition.
