Pyramids Striker Fiston Mayele Named Best African Local Player for 2025

Congolese striker Fiston Mayele has been awarded the Best African Local Player award for 2025, presented by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The 31-year-old Mayele excelled with Egyptian club Pyramids last season, where he helped the team secure the CAF Champions League title. On an individual level, he proved decisive, scoring 18 goals and providing two assists in 38 matches across all competitions.
