CAF Names Mlioui Among 5 Players to Watch in Champions League, Comments: "He is Among the Most Feared Strikers on the Continent"

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed in a report five players worth following during the CAF Champions League group stage, including Moroccan Oussama Mlioui, Renaissance Berkane's striker.

CAF published a report on its official website, stating: “The Moroccan striker, Oussama Mlioui, continues to shine as one of the most consistent goalscorers on the continent, having topped the scoring charts in both the CAF Confederation Cup and the African Nations Championship (CHAN).”

The report continued: “Mlioui has proven to possess a high goal-scoring instinct and composure in crucial situations. Today, he is among the most prominent strikers feared by defenders on the continent.”

It concluded: “Renaissance Berkane aims to transfer its success in the CAF Confederation Cup to the CAF Champions League, and Mlioui will be a key weapon in this endeavor, especially after scoring three goals in the preliminary rounds and receiving several nominations for CAF awards.”
