Belhanda: "Joining Moroccan National Team a Great Honor Ahead of Arab Cup"

Moroccan international player Younes Belhanda expressed his great happiness at joining the national team to participate in the Qatar 2025 Arab Cup.

Belhanda told the Qatar News Agency (QNA): "Playing for the Moroccan national team means a lot to me, and it is a great honor to participate in international tournaments, especially the Arab Cup."

He added: "The tournament is not just about confrontations between national teams; it represents competitions based on brotherhood and fair play to crown the best. We are always proud to play for our country, and we expect all teams to do their utmost to make their fans happy."

Younes Belhanda has played 59 international matches for the Moroccan national team since his debut in 2010, scoring 5 goals during that period.

The Moroccan national team is in Group B, alongside Saudi Arabia. They will be joined by the winners of the qualifiers between Oman and Somalia, and Comoros and Yemen.
