Bouhadi: "We Didn't Disappoint... We Gave Our All Against USA and Look Forward to Overcoming Mali"
Hamza Bouhadi expressed his immense joy at the qualification of the U17 national team for the World Cup Round of 16, following their victory over the United States on penalties (4-3).
In a press statement, Bouhadi said: "We did not disappoint expectations; we gave everything we had. Despite the difficult circumstances, we remained organized and stuck to the plan set by the technical staff. We trusted in God first, and then in the work we put in. We managed to equalize in the final minutes, and we don't fear penalty shootouts with goalkeeper Balarous in goal."
The player further explained the significant shift in performance during the second half: "What happened among us in the second half made us show a different face. We were behind and had to come back into the game. It was unacceptable for us to stand by as spectators, so we reacted strongly, and God granted us success in the end."
He continued: "The next match will be against Mali, an opponent we have faced before, and we will prepare well for it. The technical staff will do their job and have given us the keys that will enable us to achieve victory, God willing."
