The Football Association (FA) on Tuesday charged Tunisian international Hannibal Mejbri with misconduct following an alleged spitting incident involving fans during Burnley's 2-0 victory over Leeds United in a Premier League match last October.The FA released a statement, which read: "Burnley's Hannibal Mejbri has been charged with misconduct following the club's Premier League fixture against Leeds United on Saturday, October 18."It continued: "It is alleged that the player acted contrary to the Laws of the Game and/or in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or insulting behaviour by spitting at or in the direction of Leeds United fans in the 67th minute of the match."Mejbri, 22, has until November 28 to respond to the charge, according to the FA's statement.
