Moroccan Women's Futsal Team Suffers 8-1 Friendly Defeat to Spain Ahead of World Cup

The Moroccan Women's Futsal National Team suffered a heavy 8-1 defeat against their Spanish counterparts in a friendly match played between the two sides on Tuesday, as part of their preparations for the upcoming World Cup competition.

Nadia Lafteh, a player from Wydad AC, scored the only goal for the national team in the encounter hosted by the Spanish city of Toledo.

The Moroccan team is scheduled to face their Spanish counterparts again tomorrow, Wednesday, in a second friendly match, in preparation for their participation in the World Cup finals, which will be held in the Philippines.

The draw for the Women's Futsal World Cup placed coach Adil Sayeh's squad in Group A, alongside the Philippines, Poland, and Argentina.
