Chabab Mohammedia Threatens Not to Play Laayoune Match Against Jeunesse Massira Amid Financial Crisis

Osama Nassiri, President of Chabab Mohammedia club, has sent an urgent letter to the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) and local authorities, appealing for their immediate intervention to rescue the team from a severe financial crisis. This crisis threatens the club's participation in its upcoming match against Jeunesse Massira in Laayoune, scheduled for the eighth round of the professional second division league.

Nassiri explained that the club has been experiencing a difficult financial situation since the start of the season. This has prevented it from securing the minimum requirements for management, travel, and accommodation, despite the efforts made by the club's administration to cover essential expenses and ensure the team's continued participation in competitions.

The club president further noted that the team is now unable to cover the costs of traveling to Laayoune for the match, as well as accommodation and food expenses. This situation could force them to not play the upcoming fixture and potentially withdraw from future matches, which would have serious repercussions for the team's trajectory and the national league.

Nassiri concluded his letter by calling for urgent intervention from the relevant authorities to find a swift solution that would enable the team to overcome its crisis. He emphasized that Chabab Mohammedia has achieved positive results despite limited resources and deserves institutional support befitting its history and standing in the national football scene.
