Moroccan international Sofiane Diop, a Nice player, is competing for the French League Player of the Month award for last October.
Diop's nomination for this award comes after he scored 5 goals and provided an assist in 4 French League matches played last month.
Diop is competing against England's Mason Greenwood (Olympique Marseille player) and Argentina's Joaquín Panichelli (Strasbourg player) for the award.
It is worth noting that Sofiane Diop is on the final list for the Moroccan national team, which is preparing to play two friendly matches against Mozambique and Uganda, in preparation for participating in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations finals.
