National coach Abdelwahed Zamrat, manager of Ittihad Touarga, announced his resignation from his position during the press conference that followed his team's 2-1 defeat to Renaissance Zemamra in a match from the eighth round of the Professional League.
Zamrat's resignation came in protest against the refereeing, following several officiating errors during the match that led to the expulsion of Hamza Regragui and both goalkeepers, Abderrahman El Houasli and his substitute Reda Asmama.
Following this loss, Ittihad Touarga's points tally remained at 5, placing them in fourteenth position, while Renaissance Zemamra increased their total to 8 points, moving into eighth place.
