
Moroccan Nasser Larguet Nears Departure from Saudi Football Federation Role
Moroccan Nasser Larguet is reportedly close to concluding his tenure as Technical Director within the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF). This anticipated move could mark the end of his multi-year experience as part of the Kingdom's football development project.
According to the French website "Foot Mercato," Larguet is considering leaving his position in the coming period. His next destination remains undisclosed, with his future open to either embarking on a new professional experience or taking a temporary break from fieldwork.
During his time at the SAFF, Larguet played a significant role in developing youth national teams, qualifying Saudi national coaches, and overseeing regional training centers to help discover football talents. He also worked on activating international partnerships to further the development of football in the Kingdom.
Prior to his role in Saudi Arabia, Larguet served as Technical Director for national teams at the Royal Moroccan Football Federation. He also worked at several French club academies, notably SM Caen, Le Havre, and RC Strasbourg. Additionally, he was the director of the Mohammed VI Football Academy and the Olympique Marseille Academy.
