Guardiola explained that moving the Premier League match against West Ham United to an 8 PM kick-off grants Manchester City only 72 hours to prepare for the return leg against the Spanish club. Guardiola stated: "Thank you, thank much for giving us less time to recover for our game against Real Madrid," emphasizing that these precise details make all the difference in major competitions.

The Manchester City manager continued to discuss the disparity in scheduling between teams, saying: "I know all teams in the FA Cup play at 3 PM, but we play at 8 PM, and these details, like a corner kick, a foul, or a throw-in, make the difference. We will have less recovery time and then we have to go to Madrid, that is the reality," hinting at the physical challenges the squad might face in the upcoming period.

In preparation for this European trip, Manchester City is scheduled to travel to the Spanish capital on Tuesday, March 10.
